Jodi Dennithorne is an actor, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Grafton, WI, she got her start in New York City performing at UCB-NY with two solo shows, multiple improv teams, and a wide range of sketch productions. In Los Angeles, she has continued to write and perform at UCB-LA, iO West, and The Pack Theater. Her variety show ASL Comedy in LA—which she wrote, directed, and produced—ran for two sold-out years at UCB-LA. Her award-winning short film Socially Witching screened on the festival circuit, and her dramedy pilot has earned recognition from BlueCat, CineStory, ScreenCraft, and Filmmatic competitions.

On screen, Jodi recently co-starred in the Easterseals Award-winning short The Case of the Obsidian Muskrat, part of the upcoming series The Philip Casey Adventures. She has also appeared on Nickelodeon’s AwesomenessTV, the acclaimed mini-series How to Hack Birth Control, and the web series Fully Formed Adults. Her film credits include indie festival favorites such as Amnesia, Booze, Boys, and Brownies, and the Deaf-led films CODA (short) and What?, both of which received critical acclaim. She has also collaborated with the Tony Award-winning Deaf West Theatre.

With deep comedy roots from her years at UCB, Jodi has performed on stages across New York and Los Angeles, and has recently performed with Big Yellow Taxi and Drunkards & Dragons at various LA venues.

When she’s not creating, performing, or working as an ASL Interpreter, Jodi is getting some serious snuggle time in with her newly adopted pup.
