When my dad passed, I had no intention of keeping any of his ashes. My dad’s wife gifted me the responsibility of spreading his ashes. I was surprised at how much I appreciated this gesture and am so thankful I get to do this. Dad is currently on a shelf in my office. After a friend of mine confessed that she wanted to turn herself into a diamond after she passed, I got curious and looked online to see what a person can actually do with someone’s ashes. There is SO MUCH you can do. I looked at a lot of options and fell in love with Payton Leigh Treasures and messaged her with a few questions. Dad LOVED Star Trek and Star Wars and all things space. Space was one of the first things we bonded together on when I was really little. He set up a tent in our backyard so we could see the shooting stars. The artist, Jessica, did a superb job of creating the pendant with dad’s ashes. It looks just like a cosmic landscape that dad would be flying around in as a space cowboy. Here’s to his Supernova.
